1. Holy cards or stickers

Help your trick-or-treaters find a new saint to love by passing out holy cards with pictures and prayers that call on the holy souls this All Hallow’s Eve. Many Catholic small businesses make water bottle stickers and offer discounts for large orders. You can also check out the variety of Scripture and saint stickers available by the hundreds on Amazon.

2. Keychains

Think crosses, St. Benedict medals, monstrances, Scripture quotes, or saints. The good people over at the beloved tinysaints offer bulk discounts!

3. Arts and crafts

Get those creative juices flowing and help restock school supplies that have started to get depleted by handing out Play-Doh, pencils, stamps, and erasers.

4. Savory snacks

Avoiding candy doesn’t mean avoiding snacks. Opt for small, individual bags of potato or veggie chips, Cheez-its or Goldfish, popcorn (popped or ready to pop), or pretzels to give little tastebuds a break from the sugar intake.

5. Healthier sweets

If trick-or-treating and sweets are synonymous for you, try healthier options like fruit snacks or leather, raisins (plain, craisin, or yogurt-covered), or applesauce pouches to satisfy that sweet tooth in a less-intense sugary fashion.

6. Jewelry

Add to the dress up fun with costume jewelry options like light-up necklaces, plastic or metal rings and bracelets, or even religious medals that can be found in bulk at very affordable prices.

7. Glow sticks

Even with parental supervision, walking around at night calls for glow sticks. Stock up on different sizes of sticks, necklaces, and bracelets that offer instant fun.

8. Temporary tattoos

Opt for seasonal or religious reminders of the true spirit of the holiday.

9. Small toys

Offer fun that lasts a lot longer than sugar with bouncy balls, finger puppets, pop-its, miniature figurines, or other small toys.

10. Outdoor fun

Encourage outdoor play as the temperatures drop with individual bubbles or chalk.
