Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt will join a slate of speakers at the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ January 2026 Ethical Leadership Lunch, an event that brings faith-driven business professionals together to explore how Catholic values can shape ethical leadership.
The lunch, held Jan. 28, 2026, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, coincides with Catholic Schools Week and emphasizes integrity, compassion, and social responsibility in professional life, according to the archdiocese’s announcement.
Pratt, best known for his starring roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World movie franchises, has become increasingly open about his Christian faith.
In a March interview with FOX News, Pratt said he was baptized Catholic but his family did not regularly go to church.
In an interview the same month with The Christian Post, he described the moment he chose to “surrender” his public platform to God.
“I care enough about Jesus to take a stand, even if it costs me,” he said. “It could cost me everything, but I don’t care. It’s worth it to me because this is what I’m called to do.”
Pratt credited the Catholic prayer app Hallow with deepening his spiritual life, noting that its “Bible in a Year” podcast (produced by Ascension) helped him engage Scripture more fully. He later partnered with the app for its Lenten Pray40 challenge, calling its mix of Scripture reflection and guided prayer “soul food.”
Schwarzenegger Pratt, a New York Times bestselling author and global ambassador for the Special Olympics, has spoken often about how her Catholic upbringing shapes her marriage and family life. In a 2021 interview on the Meaning Full podcast, she described the required Catholic pre-marital counseling she and Pratt completed before their 2019 wedding as “the most amazing thing and just the most amazing gift.”
The counseling “was such a helpful thing to be able to have in our relationship — having that guidance, talking about things that maybe we wouldn’t necessarily have talked about before getting married,” she said.
Schwarzenegger Pratt comes from a Catholic family on both sides. She speaks publicly about faith, family, and service as central to her work. She has also shared her beliefs on social media, when she spoke about partnering with the Hallow app for Lent.
At the archdiocesan event, the Pratts will appear on a panel alongside producer Brian Grazer , entrepreneur Veronica Grazer, Homeboy Industries founder Father Greg Boyle, S.J., and Homeboy Art Academy director Fabian Debora.According to the Ethical Leadership Lunch website, the event aims to unite professionals whose work demonstrates that leadership rooted in faith can uplift communities and drive ethically sound business practices.
The 2026 lunch will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the cathedral’s conference center. Proceeds will support the archdiocese’s schools.
