Second Lady Usha Vance said that as she and Vice President J.D. Vance prepare to welcome their fourth child, they are asking supporters to help local diaper banks, not them.
In a Feb. 18 post on X, Vance thanked well-wishers for what she described as an “outpouring of love and excitement” about the arrival of the new baby.
“Your support means more to us than we can say,” she wrote. “In place of gifts, we would be honored if you would consider making a donation to your local diaper bank to help families in need.”

The message comes about a month after the couple announced in January that they are expecting a baby boy in late July, who they say will be a joyful addition to their family, which also includes three young children: Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel.
