Trump “strongly supports” the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act and “applauds the House for its efforts to protect the most vulnerable and prevent infanticide,” a statement from the Executive Office of the President announced last week. The bill aims to mandate medical care for babies who survive botched abortions.

SAINT OF THE DAY

St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) is a Doctor of the Church and one of the most influential thinkers in world history (that’s right, ALL of it – not just Catholic history). St. Thomas taught as a professor at the University of Paris, traveled with the court of Pope Urban IV, preached, and wrote many works, including the Summa Theologiae. He also had mystical visions of Jesus speaking to him and, on one occasion, Thomas’ body was lifted into the air during prayer.
