VATICAN: POPE'S HEALTH CONTINUES TO SLOWLY IMPROVE
Pope Francis' “mild kidney insufficiency" has "subsided,” the Vatican's Press Office stated yesterday. “A chest CT scan" Tuesday evening "showed a normal progression of the lung inflammation." He is still being administered high-flow oxygen therapy, but the Vatican says he has also been able to do some work activities.
TEXAS OFFICIALS WARN OF CARTEL IEDs ALONG BORDER
Texas officials are warning farmers and others near the Mexico border to be extremely careful amid increasing threats posed by cartels. The heightened alarm comes after two drivers, including a U.S. citizen, were killed by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) likely planted by cartel members.
TRUMP ADMIN TACKLES EGG PRICES
The Trump administration’s Department of Agriculture (USDA) this week announced a “five-pronged strategy” to bring down the cost of eggs. The plan prioritizes “gold-standard biosecurity measures” to ensure chickens have a better chance of being protected from bird flu.
FBI PROBES ALLEGED SPYING ON TRUMP 2016 CAMPAIGN
The FBI is investigating allegations that the agency, under former Director James Comey, attempted to infiltrate the 2016 Trump campaign using agents in a covert “honeypot” operation. According to The Washington Times, a whistleblower says Comey “personally directed” the secret operation “off-the-books.”

President Donald Trump reportedly answered over 1,000 questions from the media during his first month back in office. Former President Barack Obama took 161 questions in his first month, while former President Joe Biden took 141.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard fired more than 100 intelligence officials from 15 agencies Tuesday. The officials had participated in sexually explicit, often LGBT-themed chatrooms on a government messaging system created by the National Security Agency (NSA) for classified communications.
