SCOTUS RULES AGAINST TRUMP’S FOREIGN AID FREEZE
The Supreme Court Wednesday ruled 5-4 to reject President Donald Trump’s attempt to freeze nearly $2 billion in foreign aid spending. Fox News legal editor Kerri Urbahn called it “a significant setback” for the administration’s “ability to manage spending and look for waste, fraud, and abuse….”
POPE'S PROGNOSIS STILL UNCERTAIN AFTER MONDAY EMERGENCIES
Pope Francis' condition remains "stable" and he rested while receiving "non-invasive mechanical ventilation" overnight, according to Holy See Press Office reports. He suffered two breathing emergencies March 3, forcing medical staff to perform bronchoscopies twice. The Vatican reiterated Wednesday that his prognosis remains “guarded.”

SAINT OF THE DAY
St. Colette (1381-1447) gave her inheritance to the poor and became a Franciscan tertiary. It became her mission to reform the Poor Clares. She founded 17 convents with a reformed rule, and the pope named her prioress of them all. Colette was well known for her dramatic visions of the Passion of Christ.
