UKRAINE AGREES TO US-PROPOSED CEASEFIRE
Ukraine has agreed to a US-proposed 30-day ceasefire with Russia, leading the Trump administration to resume military aid and intelligence sharing with Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy hailed the proposal as a "positive step," expressing hope that it would pave the way for lasting peace.
HOUSE PASSES STOP-GAP FUNDING BILL
The Republican-led House passed a stopgap funding bill yesterday to prevent a partial government shutdown. The bill now moves to the Senate, where at least seven Democrats will have to support it by Friday to avert a shutdown.
