President Donald Trump met yesterday with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele at the White House. Bukele praised Trump as a leader with “350 million people to liberate,” citing El Salvador’s dramatic turnaround from being the “murder capital of the world” to “the safest country in the Western Hemisphere.”

SUSPECT CHARGED FOR FIREBOMBING GOV. SHAPIRO'S HOME

A man broke into the home of Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro in the early morning hours of April 13 and ignited multiple fires while the governor and his family were asleep inside. Cody Balmer, 38, has been charged with attempted murder, terrorism, aggravated arson, and a host of other felonies in connection with the attack.

SENATOR MOVES TO MAKE EASTER MONDAY A FEDERAL HOLIDAY

Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-MO, is introducing legislation to make Easter Monday a federal holiday. "The current lack of a federal Easter Holiday significantly limits Americans' ability to celebrate with friends, family, and church communities," he said.
