TRUMP BORDER CZAR RESPONDS TO BISHOPS

Trump Border Czar Tom Homan, a Catholic, responded to the nation's bishops after they issued a message of solidarity with migrant families who they said live in fear of "indiscriminate mass deportations." Homan argued that the administration’s enforcement policies ultimately lead to better outcomes for migrants themselves by preventing deaths and kidnappings along the border and curbing cartel operations. "Secure borders save lives,” Homan said. “I wish the Catholic Church would understand that.”
