President Donald Trump yesterday dismissed the House’s advancement of a resolution to limit his power to order continued military actions against Iran. "Yesterday, in a meaningless vote, the House voted, 4 bad Republicans and all of the Dumocrats, to limit my War Powers, right in the middle of my final negotiations to end the War with the Islamic Republic of Iran," the President wrote. "Who would do such an unpatriotic thing."

DETRANSITIONER PLEADS WITH CONGRESS TO PROTECT KIDS

Chloe Cole, a 21-year-old detransitioner, urged Congress during an emotional June 3 hearing to ban the practice of subjecting children to gender “transition” procedures, alleging that doctors lied to her family and left her with irreversible physical and emotional harm.

HEZBOLLAH REJECTS CEASEFIRE PLAN IN LEBANON

Hezbollah rejected a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Lebanese government on June 4, insisting that any agreement must include a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon. The rejection threatens broader efforts to end the Iran war.

CARDINALS TO DISCUSS JUST WAR WITH POPE LEO AT CONSISTORY

Discussions at the upcoming Extraordinary Consistory of Cardinals slated to start June 26 will focus on, among other things, what constitutes a just war. Other topics reportedly to be discussed during the meeting of cardinals from around the world are Pope Leo's new encyclical and the implementation of the Synod on Synodality.

DOJ ANNOUNCES NEW FRAUD INDICTMENTS

Trump announced Wednesday evening that he is nominating Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to serve permanently in the AG role. After the announcement, Blanche revealed the Justice Department is handing out numerous indictments for fraud – targeting over a dozen people in connection with schemes to defraud taxpayers of tens of millions of dollars in Ohio.

DOWN SYNDROME FAMILIES RESPOND AFTER YOUTUBER ABORTS BABY

Parents of children with Down syndrome took to X June 4 to share stories of love and advocacy, responding to a viral post by YouTuber Jesse Ridgway in which he announced he and his wife aborted their unborn child after learning the baby had Trisomy 21, or Down syndrome.

DOJ FILING REVEALS NEW DETAILS OF SPLC SCHEMES

The Justice Department has “just secured a superseding indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center,” Tyler O’Neil of the Daily Signal reported yesterday. Among the many new “bombshells” contained in the indictment is the revelation that “SPLC paid more than $70K to … a NAZI, KKK, and Aryan Nations leader” and $1.2 million to another operative “who was in a romantic relationship with an SPLC employee.”
