ABORTION BALLOT MEASURES TO TEST GOP RESOLVE IN MIDTERMS
Voters in at least two battleground states will face direct questions on abortion in November, putting new pressure on Republican candidates to take clearer positions on an issue many GOP campaigns have tried to subordinate to immigration, election integrity, deportations, government spending, and President Donald Trump’s agenda, according to a June 21 Politico report.
TRUMP HOLDS HOUSING BILL TO PUSH FOR SAVE ACT
Trump yesterday canceled a planned signing ceremony for a major bipartisan housing affordability bill, saying he would delay action on the measure until the Senate passes the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE America) Act. Trump argued the election integrity law is "desperately needed," adding, "I consider to be a National Emergency."
