Police put English town on lockdown to quell anti-immigration protests
British citizens were arrested at a protest in the small town of Gosport while authorities shuttled illegal aliens ashore.

British police in the seaside town of Gosport in Hampshire, England, have arrested at least 12 British citizens for protesting the government’s resettlement of illegal aliens in the area. According to reports on X, police issued a sweeping lockdown order for Gosport over the weekend in anticipation of the arrival of a boat of illegal aliens crossing the English Channel from France.
An estimated 350 protestors gathered Oct. 4 despite the lockdown. Police had formed a barricade to prevent protestors and townspeople from approaching the marina, where Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) watercraft were busy transferring illegal aliens from their boat to shore. Officially, 149 illegal aliens were brought to shore, but reports on X suggest that the number is significantly higher, well into the hundreds.
“Far more invaders than first thought. Hundreds pour in,” English Defence League founder and political activist Tommy Robinson said in an X post. “Police waiting to give them an escort to a hotel near you!”
Hampshire County Councillor George Madgwick, a member of the immigration restrictionist Reform UK party, posted a video to X showing multiple police vans driving into Gosport ahead of the protest.
“The resources gone in to bringing in, protecting and securing illegal migrants is astonishing. They have a bigger security motorcade than Trump would have on a visit,” he commented. “This is shocking.”
A total of 11 men and one woman were arrested Oct. 4 during the protest, on charges ranging from drunk and disorderly conduct to obstruction and “racially aggravated” public disorder.
“Last night saw a number of incidents that were clearly not peaceful protest, rather violent public disorder, and this will not be tolerated as we work to keep our wider communities in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight safe,” said Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary Assistant Chief Constable Simon Dodd of the protest.

Immigration restrictionists, however, argue that the government’s resettlement of illegal aliens, most of whom come from Muslim-majority countries, poses a threat to the safety of the British people, pointing to instances of systemic rape.
In a podcast interview Oct. 5, UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, who manages Britain’s immigration policy and enforcement, admitted that mass rape is a problem among the illegal aliens that the government is importing and resettling.
“You can almost guarantee that every woman that’s in the north of France has probably been raped along the journey,” she said, referring to illegal aliens who cross the English Channel to reach the UK.
“Some of the men too, they’ve certainly been abused and threatened. That is not the model that should decide whether somebody gets to come to the UK, make this their place of sanctuary and ultimately become one of us,” she continued. “We’re not in control of this border. The sifting of the people that end up in the north of France and are about to get on a dinghy is done by criminal gangs who are also, by the way, people traffickers.”
Yet Mahmood and her party, the incumbent Labour Party, continue to resettle illegal aliens in the UK. A major report published in June by Member of Parliament Rupert Lowe, founder of the hardline immigration restrictionist Restore Britain party, estimated that at least 250,000 underage British girls were systematically tortured, raped, gang-raped, sex trafficked, and in some cases even murdered by Muslims of Pakistani descent, laying much of the blame at Labour’s feet.
The report found that the scale of immigration from majority-Muslim countries and the related mass rape committed by Muslim men increased dramatically under the premiership of Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair and his liberalized immigration policies, continuing to worsen under successive prime ministers.

Former Prime Minister and Labour leader Keir Starmer, who resigned shortly after the report’s publication, was personally faulted. During his tenure as Britain’s chief prosecutor, Starmer oversaw the prosecutions of at least 13,000 Muslim men charged with the rape and sexual abuse of British girls, releasing them with warning letters instead of sentencing any of them to prison.
Starmer’s successor as prime minister and Labour leader, Andy Burnham, has faced continued criticism over his administration’s management of mass immigration. A series of pamphlets published by Burnham’s and Mahmood’s Home Office in August attempted to explain cultural differences to refugees and asylum seekers by asking them not to rape British women and children.
A subsequent report found that the Home Office had referred more than 100 children under the age of 12, including nearly 30 children under the age of five, to a Home Office unit specializing in victims of forced child marriage.
