REPORT: ICE MADE ALMOST NO INTERIOR ARRESTS IN 4-YEAR PERIOD UNDER BIDEN

A Department of Homeland Security investigation found that Immigration and Customs Enforcement was given more than 3 million leads on illegal visa overstays between 2021 and 2024. Due to a 2021 directive, ICE made only 12 arrests.

CHRISTIAN MOTHER AND DAUGHTER KILLED IN ISRAELI AIRSTRIKE IN GAZA

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa mourned two Christian women, a mother and daughter, killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City, offering prayers for their family and the enclave’s small Christian community. The women had previously sheltered for an extended period of time at Gaza’s Holy Family Catholic Church.

POLL: AFFORDABILITY COULD SWAY VOTERS BACKING DEMOCRATS IN MIDTERMS

Nearly one in five voters backing Democrats said they would vote Republican if they believed the GOP had the best plan to lower everyday costs, a new poll found. Republican supporters were less willing to switch. Justin Haskins, president and senior fellow at Our Republic, said the results show “economic issues will play an important role in determining” who wins the November midterm elections.
