CatholicVote invites students to explore America’s founding, compete for $50,000 in scholarships
The Constitution Scholarship connects civic education with financial support as CatholicVote emphasizes preparing young Americans for the responsibilities of citizenship.

CatholicVote is inviting students to study the U.S. Constitution and the founding principles of American liberty through a new scholarship cycle that will award a combined $50,000 to 19 winners.
The CatholicVote Education Fund offers The Constitution Scholarship in partnership with the Restoration of America Foundation, with free online coursework required for applicants in its winter 2027 cycle.
Kelsey Reinhardt, president and CEO of CatholicVote, pointed to the scholarship’s role in shaping the next generation of citizens.
“It is essential that citizens in a republic are formed in the virtues of truth, justice, and liberty,” Reinhardt said. “We must encourage the next generation to defend the dignity of the person and the common good. We’re honored to help students pursue an education worthy of their calling as free and faithful Americans.”
Scholarship awards range from $2,000 to $10,000. Applicants must complete free courses through Hillsdale College; additional coursework opens eligibility for higher award amounts.
The courses explore the Constitution and the nation’s founding principles, with further study available on the Federalist Papers, the U.S. Supreme Court, Congress, and the presidency.
Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 16 years old, and currently enrolled in high school, homeschool, college, university, or trade school.
The summer 2026 cycle received more than 520 applications, with students collectively devoting nearly 13,000 hours to studying the Constitution. Winners from that cycle will be announced this month.
Applications for the winter cycle are due Jan. 31, 2027. More information is available here.
