EWTN will provide live coverage of Pope Leo XIV’s Nov. 6–17 apostolic journey to Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru.

The network will televise papal events live in English and Spanish and stream them on its website, with coverage in seven languages across its platforms, according to a Nov. 5 press release distributed by PR Newswire.

The Holy See Press Office confirmed Oct. 26 that the apostolic journey would proceed as planned following the Holy Father’s lung surgery, as Zeale News previously reported.

“I am looking forward to returning to the continent where I’ve experienced so many moments of my life,” Pope Leo said. “May this journey be an occasion for us to open our hearts to one another, strengthen our communion as brothers and sisters, and renew our commitment to proclaiming the Gospel with joy.”

The Pontiff will begin his visit in Montevideo, Uruguay, travel to Buenos Aires Nov. 8, and arrive in Lima Nov. 11. His stops in Peru include Chiclayo, where he served as bishop after years of missionary work in the country, as Zeale News reported.

“For Peruvians, this visit will be deeply personal, and EWTN News will be on the ground to share it with the world,” said EWTN News President Ursula Murua, who was born in Peru.

Among his stops in Uruguay, Pope Leo will celebrate Mass Nov. 8 outside the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Thirty-Three in Florida, according to the Vatican itinerary.

The Pontiff will also visit Córdoba during his stay in Argentina and celebrate Mass Nov. 11 in the plaza outside the Basilica of Our Lady of Luján before flying to Lima that afternoon.

In Chiclayo, the Holy Father will preside over the coronation of the Immaculate Virgin at the Cathedral of Saint Mary Nov. 14. He will make other stops in Peru and conclude his visit in Lima Nov. 16. He is scheduled to arrive in Rome the following morning.

In a Nov. 6 telegram to Sergio Mattarella, president of the Italian Republic, the Holy Father reflected on his upcoming visit.

“As I prepare to embark on my Apostolic Journey to Uruguay, Argentina and Peru, I entrust the hopes for peace and brotherhood of those peoples to the intercession of the Virgin Mary and the Saints who proclaimed to them the Gospel of charity,” he said. “With these wishes, it is my pleasure to extend my warmest greetings to you, Mr President, accompanied by fervent prayers for the good and prosperity of the entire Italian nation.”
