Did you know there's only one known relic of St. Juan Diego's Tilma outside of Mexico, and it's in the United States? This small portion of the Tilma is located in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles, and it's exposed for veneration every day. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has begun a jubilee year, marking the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the new Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, and the transfer of the Tilma to the new Basilica.

Pope Leo XIV granted the Guadalupe Jubilee year, thus establishing unique spiritual opportunities for the faithful who celebrate it. Archbishop Jose Gomez of Los Angeles said, Now is the hour to live our faith with attentive hearts, with new seriousness and new joy, to go deeper in prayer and study, to grow in our knowledge and love for Jesus and his mother, and to embrace more fully our responsibility to spread the faith and bring others to Jesus. In other news, Bishop Conley told the Catholic Medical Association.

that the AI revolution is a massive opportunity to reclaim medicine's vocation. Today is also the feast of the North American martyrs who brought the gospel to indigenous nations in North America before they were martyred between 1642 and 1649.
