SCOTUS STRIKES DOWN RACE-BASED CONGRESSIONAL MAP
The Supreme Court ruled yesterday that Louisiana’s 2024 congressional map was an example of unconstitutional racial gerrymandering. The ruling voided the map, which included a recently added majority-black district, narrowing the circumstances under which states may intentionally draw majority-minority districts.
SUPREME COURT SIDES WITH PRO-LIFE CENTERS vs. NEW JERSEY
The Supreme Court yesterday ruled unanimously in favor of a coalition of pro-life pregnancy centers in New Jersey. The ruling held that former New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin’s actions against First Choice Women’s Resource Centers violated the centers’ First Amendment right to freedom of association.

Fidelity Charitable and Vanguard Charitable, two of the nation’s largest sponsors of donor-advised funds, have stopped allowing donations to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SLPC) after a federal indictment accusing the organization of fraud.
BRITISH ROYALS VISIT NEW YORK, HONOR 911 VICTIMS
King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited New York City yesterday, stopping at the National September 11 Memorial, where they laid wreaths and met with victims’ families and first responders. The royal couple is also scheduled to travel to Virginia today for an event celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
'SECTARIAN' ATTACK: NUN BEATEN IN JERUSALEM
A 36-year-old man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly threw a French Catholic nun to the ground and kicked her near the Cenacle on Jerusalem's Mount Zion in what the director of the nun's institution called an act of "sectarian violence." The incident comes as Catholic and other leaders warn of a pattern of escalating hatred and violence against Christians in the Holy Land.

BIDEN DOJ PROSECUTORS OUTED FOR TARGETING NUNS
Prosecutors with the Biden Justice Department reportedly exchanged text messages in early 2021 expressing a desire to target Catholic nuns who attended the Jan. 6, 2021, “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington, D.C. “I would like to take a special assignment of finding and prosecuting them,” one prosecutor texted. “I’m with you,” the other replied. “Although I’d like to prosecute any nun who still wears the head habit.”
