At an April 28 Turning Point USA event at the University of Idaho, a young boy named Bryce told Catholic commentators that he wants to become a priest, and asked them for their thoughts.
"I want to be a priest when I grow up,” the boy said. “I just want to ask, what would your advice be?"

Bryce, who is 10 years old, directed the question to Michael Knowles and Matt Walsh during a question-and-answer session. Before they answered him, Walsh asked him why he wants to become a priest.
“Just because God’s calling me,” he answered simply.
Knowles and Walsh both commended him, with Knowles’ saying that he didn’t need to give Bryce any advice and that he’d rather receive advice from the aspiring priest.
Walsh responded by telling him to “continue doing exactly what you’re doing right now.”
He told Bryce that he was asking the right question: “What does God want for my life?”
Most people, including most adults, Walsh continued, choose their occupation because it’s what they want to do. But it’s important to discern why God put each person here on earth.
“We were all intentional creations of the Lord of the entire universe, the God that made it by hand,” Walsh said, adding, “He did that for each of us for a specific reason, to come into this world and do something. Our job first is to prayerfully discern what that thing is.”
Walsh encouraged Bryce to continue praying, discerning, and being open to God’s will.
