TRUMP: XI CALLED JIMMY LAI'S RELEASE 'A TOUGH ONE'
President Donald Trump said Chinese leader Xi Jinping gave a "not positive" response when asked to release Jimmy Lai, the 78-year-old Catholic pro-democracy publisher sentenced to 20 years in a Hong Kong prison. Xi said Lai's case "would be a tough one," according to Trump.

BENEDICTINE COLLEGE MOURNS 2026 GRAD
Alex Lynch, who battled cancer since age 16, received his Benedictine College degree surrounded by family and 30 classmates who drove to his Iowa home. Lynch passed away the following day, and 215 students gathered for Saturday Mass during finals week to pray for the repose of his soul.
