Democrats make it official. They want to abolish ICE. The Democratic National Committee this weekend approved a resolution calling for Democratic members of Congress to dissolve ICE. DNC Chairman Ken Martin put a spin on the vote, trying to obscure the difference between reforming ICE and abolishing ICE altogether. But Democratic Socialist candidates are not subtle. Melot Kiros made abolishing ICE a central pillar in her campaign. Democrats in Michigan nominated Abdul Al-Sayed for the Senate seat in Michigan. He called ICE a tyranny agency that normalizes paramilitary force.

Peggy Flanagan won the Democratic nomination for the Senate seat in Minnesota after vowing to rip ICE apart. Abolishing a government's immigration enforcement agency is becoming a mainstream position in the Democratic Party. Just two years after President Biden's open border policies allowed 10 million people to enter the United States illegally. Meanwhile, over at The Loop, Archbishop of New York, Ronald Hicks, condemned an attack on a synagogue in Manhattan.
