BISHOPS SLAM SUPREME COURT RULING ON HAITIAN, SYRIAN PROTECTED STATUS

Bishop Brendan Cahill, chairman of the U.S. Bishops' Committee on Migration, called the Supreme Court's 6-3 decision allowing the Trump administration to terminate Temporary Protected Status for Haitians and Syrians a "moral crisis," warning that forcing families to return to unsafe conditions is "a legacy all leaders should seek to avoid."

ISRAEL, LEBANON SIGN FIRST WITHDRAWAL DEAL SINCE IRAN WAR

Israel and Lebanon signed a framework agreement yesterday for a partial Israeli military withdrawal from southern Lebanon — the first since Israel expanded its occupation during the war with Iran — following four days of U.S.-mediated talks at the State Department.
