Illegal alien crimes unfold in some very surprising and otherwise wonderful places. As soon as I arrived in Fond du Lac, in Heartland, Wisconsin, it was immediately obvious that it's a special, warm community. Dairy country, rolling green hills, bountiful lakes, quiet neighborhoods, church steeples, and working families.

Who harnessed the gifts of nature and built this place, built it with their bare hands, the makers. But unfortunately, a new crowd arrives as well. Not the makers, but the takers. It's the very same story we've seen in Lewiston, Maine, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and in far too many other places in America, where ruling class power brokers and political elites decided that borders don't really matter, and that American citizens, they come last. In Fond du Lac County, Juan Carlos Roca Mejia. An illegal alien from Nicaragua paid $250 so that he could bind and blindfold a 12-year-old girl to sexually assault her.

That girl, she fought back, thankfully. She escaped his van and she ran for help. But the predator and the mother who trafficked her own child, they were trespassers in our country illegally. Another illegal. Fermin Teodoro López Mendoza stabbed his wife multiple times in a brutal domestic attack, leaving her with life-threatening injuries.

He was convicted of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and sentenced to 20 years in prison. He fled, like so many other illegal aliens do. So, we are in Wisconsin with Sheriff Dale Schmidt of Dodge County, and we are doing a bit of a ride-along and learning about the challenges for law enforcement, especially those that are presented by illegal aliens and totally preventable crimes that they commit. It happens every single day. Right in Juneau, we have had cartel members who have taken up shop who have been arrested not once, but twice.

And if you... Believe that you're in a county in the state of Wisconsin that does not have a cartel member living there, you're mistaken. It really is incredible to see how much violence there is surrounding illegal aliens. We had a pursuit. I was able to lay my stop sticks out in front of this guy, and when he got out, after we got him in cuffs, I said, what are you doing? Why are you running? He said, well, I didn't think you could chase us because Milwaukee doesn't chase.

And I said, that's why. That's why we're seeing such an increase in pursuits, and it really was eye-opening for me. Those policies down in Milwaukee really do have an impact on us and our community in Dodge County, because crimes don't know lines on maps.

Enter David Crowley, Milwaukee County Executive and Democrat candidate for governor. Everybody asks me, well, how would you stand up to ICE as governor? I'm doing that as county executive right now. I represent the largest immigrant population in the entire state of Wisconsin. I don't think any local law enforcement should be able to enter into a contract agreement to become an extension of this federal immigration agenda. You destroy trust with undocumented immigrants, and so we have to make sure that we are protecting our immigrant population.

And when it comes down to the immigrants, always say, I'm not an ally, I'm an accomplice. I'm going to be with you no matter what. In his own words, David Crowley vows to be an accomplice in criminal migrant activity as governor. of the state of Wisconsin. He vows to protect the illegal aliens from deportation. He supports driver's licenses and taxpayer-funded tuition for these illegals. He wants local police barred, barred from even asking about immigration status. Crowley is the living embodiment of suicidal empathy that prioritizes foreigners who break our laws.

Over American kids who just want to drive home after a concert. A promising young couple, high school sweethearts, Brady Heiling and Hallie Helgeson, were making plans for a future together. Brady turned down athletic scholarships to stay close to Hallie during her senior year, and they exchanged Bible verses every morning.

But heading home from a concert in Madison, Wisconsin, They encountered Noelia Saray Martinez-Avalon, an illegal alien from Honduras with a prior drunk driving conviction. She was driving the wrong way on the highway that night. She hit them head-on and killed them both.

Hallie died at the scene. Brady... He clung to life for five days before he too perished. Our kids were driving down the freeway at 70 miles an hour, and it went from 70 to zero. There was no, no, nothing in between.

Allison, the drunk driver, illegal migrant who was driving the wrong way on the highway, had been previously arrested for drunk driving in Wisconsin, correct? Yes. Yep. She had been previously arrested more than one time. This was not the first time she had been pulled over for drunk driving, and she didn't even have a driver's license. Why is she still out on the road? Right.

So, Allison, in addition to the criminal herself, who, of course, she's principally responsible for killing your children, but do you also blame radical politicians who allowed her to stay in this country after breaking into our country and then being arrested on top of that initial crime? Do you blame those politicians?

Definitely do, and I think Jen and I have both said this would never have happened if she was not in this country. She shouldn't have been here, and if she wasn't here, she wouldn't have been driving drunk on the wrong side of the interstate, and our kids would be here. She's not following the rules that we're following, that our kids were following, and someone who shouldn't have even been here in the first place has now taken their lives.

Take in our lives, our families' lives, our communities' lives. I would never dream of going into someone else's country illegally without following their laws. I can't even come up with the words to fathom why we allow the open borders. Allison, what would you like people to know about Hallie?

I would like people to know what a caring soul. She was. A lot of people, as we've been going through this, have said that she's just been a light, and she was a very caring person. She was a great student. So, our kids were organ donors, and that just kind of brings me back to who she was.

Always thinking about other people. She was not a selfish person. She was always looking for ways to better the people around her. Wonderful. Jen, how about Brady? What would you like people to know about Brady? Brady, Brady was, Brady was a big, big guy with a big, big heart.

Why does it happen in Wisconsin? Long way from the border. Why is this illegal alien crime happening here? Well, because too much of Wisconsin is operating as a so-called sanctuary jurisdiction, meaning that the radical Democrats, from Governor Evers on down, the radical Democrats who largely run Wisconsin. They have decided that illegals should be prioritized above the citizens of the United States. So, they encourage the mass invasion of the United States, and they then prevent state and local police from cooperating with federal law enforcement to do the needed work of enforcement and deportations.

They prioritize the criminals over the victims. They prioritize the foreigner over the American, over the citizen, tax-paying citizen. And because of these policies, the real-world, tangible consequences are that people suffer at the hands of illegal migrants in totally preventable crimes. We invited both major nominees for governor to be interviewed. Only one agreed.

Congressman Tom Tiffany, thank you so much for joining us. I want to ask you about a really unfortunate incident in your state at the University of Wisconsin at Madison at the flagship university. Illegal alien crime and assault committed there. I think this will remind a lot of the viewers, unfortunately, of the Sheridan Gorman attack in Chicago. A Loyola University student who was tragically killed. Should Wisconsin students and parents be concerned?

Oh, they should be concerned, and it's terribly unfortunate when something like this happens, especially on the flagship campus down in Madison. You know, parents, families, students, they should have an expectation that they're going to be safe on campus and around campus, but unfortunately...

Dane County has identified themselves as a sanctuary county, and the Dane County Sheriff, a Democrat, he has honored that. So, he does not honor detainers by immigration and customs enforcement. So, as a result, the sanctuary ends up being for the criminals that want to do harm to people in our good state. Yeah, it sounds, Congressman, like it's not a sanctuary for the citizens and the victims. It's not a sanctuary for the cops, but it is for the bad guys. That's what happens with a sanctuary.

It is a sanctuary for those who commit crime. I can tell you, Steve, that will not be happening on my watch when I become governor. So, think about the situation in Minnesota earlier this year when the state of Minnesota and the city of Minneapolis fought Immigration and Customs Enforcement from being able to remove these violent, illegal aliens that are doing so much damage to these cities and communities, and Minnesota refused to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Minnesota and Illinois have chosen not to do this with all the harm that Wisconsin should not be doing the same thing.

Unfortunately, my opponent, David Crowley, he believes that Wisconsin law enforcement should not honor these detainers either, making Wisconsin less safe for the average citizen here in our good state. So, Congressman Tom Tiffany, what would be your closing argument to Wisconsin citizens who are about to cast their ballots in this governor's race on this issue of law and order? Do you want to have safe streets? Do you want prosecutors to do their job and make sure violent criminals are put away? Do you want to make sure that those who are here illegally, especially those that have committed violent crimes in their home countries or here in America, that they are removed from Wisconsin?

If you want to have safe streets, if you want to make sure that criminals are behind bars or deported, then I hope to earn your vote, because we're going to make sure that we have safe streets. We're going to make sure that prosecutors prosecute. There will be no sanctuary cities, and we will back law enforcement to allow them to be able to do their jobs.

Makers. The pioneers who built the cities, churches, and farms of Wisconsin, or takers who traffic children and drive drunk down the wrong side of our highways. Wisconsin can choose safety, sovereignty, and the rule of law, or it can follow the path that has turned once peaceful towns into terrible cautionary tales. The choice, this choice now falls to the patriotic citizens of Wisconsin. Will they choose to turn away from danger in the heartland?
