America Secures Greenland - 9/21/26

Trump secures a permanent military deal with Greenland. Following nearly two years of debate and negotiation, the United States agreed on a deal with Greenland and Denmark on a wide-ranging pact granting the United States complete security and military control over Greenland. The security pact grants the United States functional military control over Greenland and bars foreign adversaries from gaining a foothold in the region. The deal with Denmark and Greenland is permanent and does not expire. even if Greenland becomes independent. The agreement gives the United States permanent access, space for military bases, and overflight rights in Greenland, and the ability to establish additional military installations as needed.

It also prevents non-NATO countries from making investments in sensitive actors in the country.
