Former Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin is taking his parents' rights education fight nationwide. His new group, Empowering America's Parents, is launching a multi-million dollar campaign pressuring holdout states into President Trump's Education Freedom Tax Credit program. The program gives donors up to a $1,700 federal tax credit. ...for any gifts given to funding scholarships for private religious school tuition, tutoring, books, and more.

Former Governor Glenn Youngkin says he'll aggressively call out far-left governors who refuse to join, and battleground states like Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin are the first targets. Kansas voters have preserved the judicial selection system that produced a state Supreme Court recognizing a so-called right... to an abortion. Tuesday's amendment went down 61% to 39%, keeping in place the state's lawyer majority nominating commission in control of the shortlist for justices. Pro-life groups had backed direct election of justices as a long-term path to reshaping the court, which has repeatedly blocked pro-life laws.

Americans feel a little less gloomy about the economy, but still not super optimistic. Gallup's Economic Confidence Index improved from negative 38 in June to negative 31 in July. Republicans and independents drove the slight bounce upwards, but a renewed Iran fighting and higher gas prices could quickly erase it.
